Theme: Energy Transition in Turbulent Times – Political Willingness and Technological Solutions
Finland has a unique opportunity to emerge as a frontrunner in clean energy. With strong infrastructure, a highly educated workforce and an innovation-friendly climate, Finland offers international players excellent conditions to succeed in sustainable energy projects. At Energy Day, we focus on how to harness these opportunities in the best possible way. Now, more than ever, it is time to build a cleaner energy future together!
Energy Day 2025 once again brings together leaders and experts from the energy sector to discuss current topics and co-create solutions. Held in Helsinki on Thursday, 2 October 2025, the event examines the energy transition in turbulent times: the significance of the EU Energy Union for competitiveness, emissions reductions and energy security; enabling investments; the shifting focus of innovation; and Finland’s consumption and production outlooks. The programme also addresses the role of data centres in the future energy system as well as the challenges and solutions of the electricity market. The day features up-to-date analyses, practical examples and perspectives from across the ecosystem. It concludes with a high-level electricity-market panel, a cocktail reception and an Energy Dinner.
